Terms & Conditions

Order Submission & Confirmation

- After you submit the order and complete the payment on the official website, it is deemed that a binding sales contract has been formed between you and us, in accordance with U.S. contract law.
- For made-to-order wedding dresses and gowns, we will send a design confirmation email (including fabric swatches, style sketches, and measurement verification) within 3 business days of order placement. Production will not start until we receive your written confirmation of the design details.
- We reserve the right to cancel the order in the following cases: insufficient commodity inventory (for in-stock items), incorrect price labeling due to technical errors, incomplete or undeliverable shipping information provided by you, suspected fraudulent orders (e.g., use of stolen credit cards), or failure to confirm design details for made-to-order items within 10 business days.
- After the order is cancelled, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method within 3 business days and notify you via email. For made-to-order items cancelled after production has started, a 30% production fee will be deducted from the refund.

Commodity Information & Liability

- Product descriptions, sizes, fabric details, and images displayed on the website are for reference only. Due to lighting during photography, differences in monitor settings, and fabric batch variations, the actual product color may vary slightly from the images, which is not considered a quality defect.
- All size charts are based on U.S. standard bridal sizing and are manually measured, with an error of 0.5-1 inch, which is within the normal range. For made-to-order items, we rely on the measurement data you provide; we are not liable for size discrepancies caused by incorrect or incomplete measurement submission.
- We are not liable for dissatisfaction caused by personal preferences (e.g., dislike of fabric texture, style not matching wedding theme) or changes in wedding plans.
- Our quality guarantee is limited to normal wear and use. We are not liable for damages caused by improper washing, accidental damage, unauthorized modification, or failure to follow the care guide (e.g., wedding dress yellowing from improper preservation).

User Obligations

- You promise to provide true, accurate, and complete personal information (including measurement data for made-to-order items) when placing an order. If delivery fails, production delays, or size discrepancies occur due to incorrect information, the responsibility shall be borne by you.
- You shall not resell the purchased products for commercial purposes without our written authorization (except for authorized bridal boutiques).
- You shall not use our website or products for any illegal activities, nor shall you upload or transmit any malicious software or content that may damage our website or infringe on our intellectual property rights.
- You shall not engage in fraudulent activities such as malicious ordering, frequent returns and exchanges, or providing false defect claims, which disrupt our normal business operations. Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse service, pursue legal liability, and claim compensation for all losses incurred.

Intellectual Property Rights

- All content on the website, including but not limited to product images, descriptions, trademarks, logos, design sketches, and bridal style guides, is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws, and is owned by Elegant Bridal Couture or its authorized licensors.
- You may download or save website content for personal non-commercial use only. No part of the website content may be copied, modified, distributed, or reproduced for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
- Infringement of our intellectual property rights (e.g., copying wedding dress designs, using our logo without authorization) will result in legal action, and we will claim compensation for all losses incurred.

Limitation of Liability

- To the maximum extent permitted by U.S. law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to emotional distress, wedding delays, or additional alteration costs) arising from the purchase or use of our products.
- Our total liability for any direct damages related to a product shall not exceed the total purchase price of that product.
- We shall not be liable for order delays or failures caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, government regulations, or pandemics) beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer options such as order modification or full refund.

Dispute Resolution

- Any disputes arising from the purchase or use of our products shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between you and us.
- If negotiation fails, either party may initiate legal proceedings in the state or federal court located in Cook County, Illinois, USA.
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Term Modification

- We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material modifications (e.g., changes to return policies, production timelines, or liability limitations) will be posted on our website homepage with a 14-day notice period before taking effect.
- Your continued use of our website or purchase of our products after the effective date of the modified terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
